Buck deer in the Pacific Northwest forest during hunting season
Oregon Cascade Foothills

Deer Hunting

About This Trip

Oregon's Cascade foothills hold healthy populations of Columbian blacktail. We hunt private timber ground and public land units we know intimately — glassing clear-cuts at first light, still-hunting old-growth edges, and calling in bucks during the rut. This is real Western hunting. We specialize in the McKenzie Unit  My favorite tag is the late season muzzleloader tag. It takes only one point to draw for residents and is some of the best blacktail hunting around if we get the right weather.  The 600 series tag in the McKenzie is also a great tag. Add it on to your regular buck tag and kill two deer on the same trip ( extra trophy fee of $750 only applies if two deer are killed on one trip)  Drop Camps- we provide drop camps or camp rentals for the McKenzie unit starting at $500 ( call for details)
